 HOW IT WORKS...
When a horse is missing for any reason, FAST proactive steps must be taken to insure his best chance of safe return. Report the event using HORSEtrac ALERT!, and several things kick into action:
1. HORSEtrac USA notifies brand inspectors, law enforcement, recovery partners, equine publications, border inspection sites, and others.
2. Your submitted picture and microchip number are posted on HORSEtrac USA and at all other affiliate websites.
3. Your digital picture and chip number are sent via email (as per agreement) to all USDA slaughter facilities. Universal pole scanners have been provided.
4. The HORSEtrac 24 Hour Call Center is put on ALERT.
